The Bridge
Within two weeks, I've watched the whole Scandinavian series The Bridge (Swedisch: bron | Danish: broen). What a good one. The series follows a police investigation on the discovery of a dead body on the Øresund Bridge, connecting Denmark and Sweden. Brilliant acting by Sofia Helin as Saga Norén. Her character has symptoms consistent with the Asperger syndrome, which makes her dynamics with her co-player Martin Rohde (Kim Bodnia) interesting and unexpected.
The series keeps stuck in my head, not only because of the story and acting, but also because of the interiors. Especially the one of Martin Rohde. A beautiful wooden house with many windows and wooden elements on the inside. Would love to live in such a house! Below a few images from the series, you should watch the series for a better impression. For the ones visiting copenhagen: there is a tour available that takes you along the sites of The Bridge here. The house is located in the Sundbyvester area on Amager, Copenhagen.
