Piet Hein Eek

I wanted to visit the store of Piet Hein Eek for quite some time, but it is a 1,5h drive from where I live. This week, we finally decided to go and it was really worth it.

The whole 'thing' is located in an old factory building and covers a store, restaurant, office and workplace. From the shop, you can take a look into the workplace, where all the furniture is being made. Also, you get a view of the office, filled with full desks, weird stuff (hence the ceramic dog and a stuffed rabbit on a desk) and iMacs. To have such a creative office is kind of a dream. They have decorated the spaces in a way that it just feels like home. And of course there where many beautiful things to see (the T-legged table and the mirrors being my favorites); a shame it all was kind of expensive..
